MOVEO is a platform dedicated to: create tools to develop new theatrical languages, exchange knowledge and support the creation of shows and the training of actors for a theatre based on physical expression.

MOVEO houses two axes of work: training and creation of shows.

Within the training frame, we organise courses and workshops with the aim of widening the offer of theatre training and introduce lines of physical work that, until now, were not taught in Spain.

In 2004, we created, in Barcelona, the Escuela internacional de mimo corporal dramatico (International school of corporal mime).

Since our origins and until now, students from all over the world have participated in the school's activities: Belgium, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Ecuador, France, Germany,   Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, and USA.

People from various horizons and backgrounds: professional actors and dancers, but also students of other subjects and people just interested in discovering this artform.

In the second axe we create and produce devised contemporary shows under the name of Moveo Teatro. The company's principal objective is to develop theatre shows in which the body is the main mean of expression, using it as a poetical instrument, but also integrating texts, music, set and lighting design.

Moveo, or initiate, impulse artistic projects fed by investigation and intercultural collaboration, as because we believe in research and multi-disciplinarity as important principles to create contemporary theatre.

From this perspective, we created our first show, "Marelle",   which was premiered and chosen to open officially the first edition of the Gest Festival in Esparreguera, Barcelona. It was also presented at the Festival Tardor de Poble Nou and was chosen to form part of the distribution circuit of the city of Barcelona (Oficina de Difusió Artística).
