OBJECTIVES:
To train a new generation of physical theatre actors/actresses, to develop and continue promoting the study of dramatic corporal mime, to investigate and seek new teaching methods for the physical theatre actor/actress, to offer the necessary tools for the student to be able to develop his/her own projects. |

Professional training course
PROGRAMME:
- 20 hours weekly.
- Technique, improvisation, repertory, composition, voice and seminaries.
- Devised end of year show
- Two levels: beginner and advanced
(possibility of 3rd year – specialised).
- Diploma in 2 years.

TEACHERS:
Stephane Levy and Sophie Kasser, the artistic directors of the school, give classes with Olivier Decriaud, Vicky Alvelo and other invited teachers, .

CORPOREAL MIME :
Etienne Decroux’s dramatic corporeal mime is taking the body as a main means of expression and the actor as a starting point for creation with the aim of "making the invisible visible" (E. Decroux), of allowing the actor to show thought through movement. The corporeal mime actor/actress seeks to recreate the essence of drama, to integrate in the body all principles of an action or a dramatic situation – disequilibrium, instability, causalities, rhythms – and to attain the control of the latter through learning a corporeal technique. |

ENROLMENT
To enrol, please get in touch with us to attend an audition consisting in a two hours class with other students and an interview with the teachers of the school.
If you are not able to attend the audition because you live outside of Spain, please send us a CV and a motivation letter in which you explain us what you knows about Corporeal Mime and/or physical theatre, why you are interested in it, why you want to study in our school and what are your resources to live in Barcelona during the course (scholarship, savings, family, jobs, etc.).
